Measurement Instructions
- Disable pointer acceleration in your OS for accurate calibration.
- Use a ruler or printed grid and move in a straight line.
- Use a stable surface and consistent hand speed.
- Use at least 5 inches for better confidence.
Pointer acceleration must be disabled for accurate DPI measurement.

How To Interpret Results
- DPI means counts-per-inch (CPI): how many movement counts your mouse reports per inch.
- OS acceleration changes effective movement and can invalidate DPI estimation.
- Browsers cannot access hardware-level raw DPI registers directly.
- Longer travel distance reduces random error and improves confidence.
